TRACY – Jonah Grubb’s three-RBI double was the highlight of a five-run second inning for Spreckels Park in a 12-6 win Sunday over the Manteca Marlins in second-round action of the District 67 Intermediate 50-70 All-Star tournament at Legacy Fields.

Grubb and Evan Zeiher were each 2 for 3 with a double with Zeiher’s double knocking in a run in Spreckels Park’s five-run sixth, giving his team some breathing room after Manteca had closed to within 7-5 in the top of the sixth. Jaxon Eidschunn (two runs) and Ethan Teller (run) added an RBI fir Spreckels Park in the sixth.

Marlin leadoff batter Austin Stirrat went 3 for 4 with a double and two runs. Teammate Trent Sprecksel was 3 for 4 with a pair of RBIs.
