Roman Duvarney and Michael Torio ran for a pair of touchdowns apiece and Ajay Carlson threw for two touchdowns to lead the Manteca Chargers varsity to a 48-14 win over the River Islands Riptide in Delta Youth Football League action.
Duvernay (four carries, 45 yards) scored on 1- and 33-yard runs, Torio (three carries, 31 yards) had 1- and 6-yard touchdown runs and Carlson had a 52-yard touchdown pass to Duvernay and one of 54 yards to Luke Avila.
Dominic Roa led the Chargers with four tackles. DeAnthoney Hackett and Nicholas Holt added three stops apiece and Shayne Saenz contributed to the Manteca defense.

Danny Olaguibel scored from 20 yards out. Robbie McDonald added a 22-yard rushing touchdown, Darren Ellis posted a 24-yard scoring run and Tobias Cox had a 25-yard rushing touchdown. Isaiah Herrera threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Emiliano Nunez.
Isaiah Herrera, Harry Soe and Bradley Betanio led the Manteca defense with three tackles apiece. Stephen Graham also contributed to the defense.

Arieon Shortridge and Noah Olage each scored a pair of touchdowns for Manteca
Shortridge (six carries, 155 yards) scored on runs of 50 and 55 yards and Olage had a 20-yard touchdown run and pulled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Christian Hernandez.
Shortridge made three tackles. Dylan Foster and Israel Juarez both forced a fumble with Jayden Alpiche, Olage and Aliah Magana each recovering a fumble. Jason Vargas contributed on defense.

Manteca’s Jayden Shortridge tallied more than 100 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Shrtridge picked up 105 yards on just four carries with scoring runs of 24 and 65 yards. Jeremiah Silva threw a 30-yard scoring pass to Jharon Jackson and Blake Rauchman contributed to the offense.
Josiah Johnson and Jeremiah Silva each recovered a fumble for the Chargers and Christian Porter contributed to the defense.
