Ripon goalie Benny Rogers got to contribute on both ends of the pool Wednesday at East Union, helping the Indians win, 15-2.
In the first half, he came up with four saves and assisted two goals before scoring two goals of his own in the second half as a field player. Second-half goalie Owen Curtis had five saves, three assists and a steal.
McKeane Beier (five steals, assist), Ben Svoboda (assist, steal) and Ryan Bell each chalked up three goals.
Teo West added two goals and three assists. Brody Biedermann had three steals to go with his one goal and one assist. Nate Selna contributed one goal and two assists.
Ripon faces Weston Ranch’s co-ed squad today.
CROSS COUNTRY
WAC Meet No. 2
Taimane Lowery placed third individually, finishing the 3.2-mile course at Eagal Lakes in Tracy in 24 minutes, 20.6 seconds. She paced the Spartans’ second-place team finish. Mountain House outscored them, 30-52.
Deisy Carrasco contributed an eighth-place finish in 25:19.3, while Stephanie Andrade Salcedo took 11th in 25:54.6.
Lathrop’s boys placed third behind Mountain House (37) and Beyer (37) and were led by Michael Salcedo (11th, 19:20.3) and Aron Camacho (13th, 19:35.0).
In lower levels, Sarah Vivero (16:19.2) won the 2.1-mile frosh-soph girls race, and Dayanna Martinez (17:00.9) took third. Anthony Gallardo was the JV boys runner-up in 13:39.3.
VOLLEYBALL
Ripon 3, Riverbank 0
The Indians (5-1, 13-7 overall) cruised to the Trans-Valley League home win, 25-7, 25-11, 25-13.
Makenzie Loechler led the way with eight kills, two solo blocks and three aces. Kylee Fullmer tallied seven kills. Kaya Whitaker (three kills, two aces) and Adriana Dorn each handed out 14 assists.
Kailee Inderbitzin and Reagan Wilkerson contributed six and five aces, respectively.
GIRLS GOLF
Pacheco 331, Los Banos 349, Lathrop 354
Manjot Kaur led Lathrop with a 63 in the WAC double-dual match at Manteca Park Golf Course.
Sanah Sunner (70), Mya Grisham (71), Kate Albisu (74) and Sara Sardar (76) contributed to the team score.
Pacheco’s Gracie Luis was overall low medalist with a 60, and Arlet Leon netted a 61. Los Banos was paced by 63s from Kiara Daniels and Hayden Frigard.
JV volleyball

Amelia Lara amassed 10 service aces in the 25-4, 25-12 rout for Ripon.
Olivia Maragos added six aces and three kills, while Shayla McKeon served up five aces to go with three kills and four assists. Katelyn Bogetti racked up four kills and eight assists.
Frosh volleyball
Ripon 2, Riverbank 0
Ripon rolled to a 25-6, 25-13 sweep behind Kyra Schnenger’s 11 aces, two kills and four aces.
Olivia Taylor chipped in five aces, and Ashley Campos had three digs.
