ROUNDUP: Ingalls, Pale lead Lancers golfers past Sierra

 Jessica Ingalls and Arianna Pale led East Union’s girls golf team to a 253-350 win over Sierra on the Manteca Park Golf Course front nine on Tuesday.

Ingalls was low medalist of the Valley Oak League dual match with a 6-over-par 42, edging Pale by a stroke.

All six Lancers topped Sierra’s best scorer. Alizae Farias carded a 55 and was followed by Ava Gutierrez’s 56. Kendall Perry and Jocelyn Diaz each shot a 57.

Sierra was paced by Hannah Williamson’s 64. Kate De Belen (68), Kanika Tyagi (71), Hannah Feerabee (73) and Emma Dunham (74) accounted for the rest of the Timberwolves’ score.


Lathrop 288, Pacheco 294

The Spartans narrowly won the Western Athletic Conference match at Manteca Park Golf Course behind Ashley Yuuki Abon Garcia’s 65. Low medalist honors went to Pacheco’s Gracie Lewis, who turned in a 61.

Yadira Hernandez contributed the third-place score of 71 for Lathrop. Kate Albisu, Kriselle Matela and Madison Dash each had a 76.
