East Union’s Jessica Ingalls is moving onto the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Girls Golf Championships after qualifying individually out of the Division III Tournament held at Pheasant Run Golf Club in Chowchilla on Monday.
Only two teams and six individuals advance. East Union netted a team score of 531, good for sixth place. Ingalls is the fifth individual qualifier with an 89. Fellow Lancer Arianna Pale carded a 90 and is an alternate for Masters after losing a sudden-death tiebreaker for the final spot.

Manteca had four entrants and was paced by Emily Camara’s 93. Joining her were Clare Cook (112), Alessia Harris (115) and Layla Flannigan (120).
The Valley Oak League was well represented in the Division III tourney, as Oakdale and Mountain House finished 1 and 2, respectively, to advance. Mountain House’s Ashlee Xu was low medalist with an even-par 72. The Mustangs edged out Rodriguez by two strokes for the second spot.
Division IV
Lathrop’s season ended at Mather Golf Course, placing seventh with a 646.
Scoring for the Spartans: Kate Albisu (114), Ashley Abon (123), Madison Dash (125), Kimberly Rivera (136) and Yadira Hernandez (148).
Woodland Christian won the tourney title with a 462 and has qualified for Masters. Allie Nguyen of Woodland Christian is the individual champion with a 79.
GIRLS TENNIS
Manteca 7, Patterson 2
The Buffaloes (9-3 VOL, 10-6 overall) secured their spot in the SJS playoffs with the win Monday at Manteca Regional Tennis Center.
They finished as the runners-up in the VOL to Mountain House. The postseason begins next Monday, Nov. 4.
Manteca swept at Nos. 1-4 singles. Emma Ngo downed Violet Tongson 6-4, 6-0 from the top of the ladder. Shreya Raman (6-1, 6-1), Michailla Springs (7-6 [2], 6-3) and Simar Mann (6-1, 6-1) won the rest for the Buffs.
Paisley Coenenberg and Parm Toor teamed up for No. 1 doubles and fended off Johanna Amezquita and Lilianna Barajas, 6-2, 7-5. Alyson Alvarado and Pia Kley outlasted Angel Mulumba and Kim Humphries, 6-7 (2), 7-5, 10-7. Delialah Sanchez Torres and Rubi Sepulveda swept at No. 3 doubles, 6-2, 6-1.
