The Ripon Christian High girls’ soccer team defeated visiting Delhi 3-1 in non-league play on Wednesday.
The Knights (5-2-1) got their offense going with Helia Vander Meulen scoring eight minutes into the game.
She was followed by Maya DeJong and Sarah Vander Veen.
Addison DeJong contributed two assists on those goals.
Goalie Tara Heida’s shutout bid was spoiled with just one minute left to play as Delhi (0-2) scored to get on the board.
Ripon 7, Escalon 0
Olivia Maragos scored four goals to lead the Indians in the one-sided affair.
Inez Rodriguez blasted an unassisted score in the second half. Kaitlyn Espinola also helped out offensively.
Ripon (10-2) dominated on the field with a 19-3 shot advantage over the Cougars.
Beyer 11, Lathrop 0
The Spartans were blanked by Beyer in Western Athletic League play.
Next up for Lathrop is a non-league match at West High on Friday.

The Timberwolves kicked off VOL with a shutout victory over the Jaguars.
Emiliano Sanchez at the 10 minute mark, with A.J. Paz getting the assist on the play.
"It was a good game," said Sierra coach Joe Pires. "We missed some good opportunities in the cold weather."
He credited his defense for thwarting several breakaway threats, particularly in the second half.
In the 73rd minute, Paul Pimentel, on a play assisted by Audie Garza, provided some insurance with a goal.

Santa Cruz 48, RC 41
The Knights led through the better of three quarters in tournament play Wednesday in Modesto.
Santa Cruz, behind the play of Aden Curry, went on a 19-7 run in the fourth, with Curry scoring six of his 18 points to lead the way.
Eli Terpstra had the hot hand for Ripon Christian. He finished with a game-high 26 points.
Griffin De Abreu chipped in with eight.
