East Union went to work on the Old River Golf Course front nine, beating the Jaguars 220-330 in their Valley Oak League meeting Thursday.
Frances Telles led the squad with a round of 41, followed by Jillian Goulart and Salina Tiscareno’s 43. Jenny Ketner turned in a 44 for the Lancers, while Jordan Vinson rounded out the East Union scorecard with a 49.
The Lancers (8-0) will be back on their home digs Tuesday when they host the Manteca Buffaloes.
Sierra (3-6) got a round of 51 from Allison Smith and teammates Elia Vasquez and Holly Cook both shot 66. Melanie Kiesel and Kiana Nelson finished the par-37 course in 73-strokes.
Oakdale (6-2) was led by Jaylene Ponce’s medalist honors earning round of 49.
Micaela Diaz turned in the medalist honors round, shooting a 47, while teammate Brooke Mejorado finished the Manteca Golf Course front nine in 56 swings.
Kaylie Grimes and Maria Saavedra were a stroke apart, with Savvedra shooting a 65 and Grimes a 66, while teammate Airenne Curry shot a 68.
Lathrop was led by Chelsea Brown’s 51, followed by teammates Jenna Howard (69), Cecilia Fernandez (76) and Kristina Vareia (81).
Manteca will be back on the course Tuesday against the undefeated East Union Lancers, while Lathrop will roll out the welcome mats for Oakdale.

Oakdale 279, Sierra 329
