Republicans need to keep moving to right

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I would like to say how much I enjoyed Mr. Johnson’s rebuttal to Mr. Baca’s observations of the Republican Party.  Right from the beginning of his letter he makes one point that I could not agree with more, the GOP needs to continue their march to the right.  The GOP will never reach party purity unless they purge any moderate that is willing to side with the Democrats. It was party purity that enabled the European greatness of the 1930s and 40s. I couldn’t agree more that there are clear and distinct differences between the GOP, and the Democrats. What I found astounding was the fact that someone so in tune with the GOP orthodoxy like Mr. Johnson, that he would have the ability to know just how Democrats think, and what their intentions are.

It amazes me that only 1 in 5 people in this country can see the GOP for their greatness. As Mr. Johnson says, “the GOP believes in the constitution as it is written.” He convinces me of this point even more when he says that the Democrat Party President just said that this is not a Christian Nation (Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion). I mean really, what is this country coming to when the President of the United States denies the intents of the founding fathers!
Mr. Johnson really drives home his point when he said: “The Democratic Party wants everyone to believe that the government should be in control.” This is insane! The Democrats want us to believe that the government should be in control? What are they smoking! Can’t Americans see that the Democrats are trying to monitor our Internet activity? There is no reason for this; it’s not for national security like when President Bush quietly, so as not to worry us, listened in on our phone calls (Amendment IV: [N]o Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized). How else was he going to keep us safe against the super powers of the terrorists, which every God loving American knows are the strongest, most intelligent, most evil and diabolical people to ever walk the Earth. It was a tall order, but Mr. Bush did it for us.

It amazes me that the Democrats want to impose on our freedom of speech by implementing a “fairness doctrine” in talk radio. Every American knows that talk radio is where the truth lives. It is like the voice of God talking to us through the air and into our radios. They stifle opposition at every turn, and they are so full of hate. Here the GOP is just trying to show them the correct way to govern this country, and they turn away from us. They mock the GOP as if they are crazy, when in actuality they are just following the teachings of the bible. You can just look through the constitution and see the many, many times that it talks about the good teachings of the bible!

Mr. Johnson, I cannot agree more with you that the GOP is definitely different than Democrats. The Democrats have taken control of the left and the center. The GOP will be just like the Democrats if they try and move to the center. The GOP needs to continue the struggle of moving so far to the right so that the Democrats will never take full control of the right. We need to continue purging the GOP until it gets down to its pure base, the white, fearful, racist, bigoted, intellectually stifled, paranoid, selfish, “let them eat cake”, human & equal rights hating, constitutionally impaired, regional, minority party.
