William Albert Denton III (Bill), passed away on February 18, 2024, in Manteca, California, at the age of 72. Born on March 23, 1951, in Hawthorne, California. A resident of Manteca for 43 years, Bill leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. 

   He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Paulette; his mother, Sandra Denton; his son, Eric Denton, and daughter-in-law, Lisa; his adored granddaughters, Lucia and Gianna Denton; his brother, Kerry Denton, and sister-in-law, Mary Jane. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill, and his brother, Darren Denton.

   Bill dedicated his life to serving his country through the United States Air Force, a commitment that spoke volumes of his character and patriotism. After his service, he had a 30-year career at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he worked as a Scheduled Maintenance Coordinator.

Passionate about sports, William coached baseball for many years, guiding young athletes from T-ball through Senior League of Little League. His love for the game and commitment to fostering teamwork and sportsmanship in the youth of his community will be fondly remembered, should read, "Bill"

   An avid outdoorsman, Bill found joy in camping, boating, skiing and riding his motorcycle. A true sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching all kinds of sports on TV, a testament to his love for any athletic game.

   Bill’s granddaughters, Lucia and Gianna, were the light of his life, his pride and joy. His dog, LaKota, was his faithful companion. Though reserved, Bill’s personality was rich with social warmth, love, and kindness. He had the unique ability to make everyone around him feel value.

   A memorial service to honor Bill’s life will be on Friday, March 22, 2024 at
