Warren N. “Bud” Malvick passed away in Sacramento on March 27, 2024, due to natural causes. Born in Stockton on October 5, 1948, to Arnold and Amy Malvick. Bud was raised and lived in Manteca for 70 years. For 29 years, Bud worked as a machine operator at Spreckels. He would later work for The Wine Group before retiring in 2014. In 2018, he and his wife Marcia moved to Sacramento to live closer to family.
Bud was known for having a great sense of humor, being a devoted husband, loving father, and avid sports fan. He was especially passionate about baseball and the Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Marcia, son Erik (Julia) Malvick, granddaughter Linnea Malvick, daughter Kari (Chris) Rockwell, his two sisters Leita Hobby and Karen (Dave) Beck, brother-in-law Mark (Jody) Coats and numerous nieces and nephews.
