Vincent Cowan Sr., 90, of Escalon, California, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife, Loretta, by his side.
Born in Los Angeles, Vince was a proud veteran through the US Navy where he served in the Korean War and had a successful career as a businessman in the construction industry. He was an avid reader who loved golfing, fishing, and hunting. Vince also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed western movies and music.
Vince cherished his family, he is survived by his wife of 68 years, Loretta, whom he adored, he is also survived by his sister, Dorthy Perkins, children; Vincent Jr. (Liz) of Escalon, Susan Barber (Bruce) of Manteca, and Tony (Michelle) of Manteca, along with seven grandchildren; Vincent III, Amanda (Mark), Michael, Matthew (Kyndra), Joseph (Erika), Megan (Kevin), and Natalie. He also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren; Aiden, Matthew, Hailey, Liam, Lucas, Benjamin, Harper, Bristol, Hunter, and Joseph, as well as his goddaughter, Ryann Orlando Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents John Joseph and Marie Antoinette, and his brothers Jack and Tony Cowan. Vince will be remembered for his generosity and love for family.
