Victoria Bacerra Sabiniano, age 95 of Manteca, CA peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2023, at home in the presence of her loving family.

   Born in 1928 to the late Maximo and Saturnina Bacerra in Mangatarem, Pangasinan, Philippines, Victoria, graduated as a teacher and had a zest for life and enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, and gardening, and was a member of various community organizations participating in many events.  She met Diego Sabiniano in the Philippines and after marrying him, formed a loving family over the years and remained married for 52 years until his passing in 2011.

   Victoria was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents and husband and her siblings Juanita Sadorra, Fred Bacerra, and Nilo Bacerra. Left to cherish her memory are her children Marivic (the Late Anthony) Refuerzo of Manteca, Mary Ann Di Scala of Ripon, and Dwayne Sabiniano of Stockton, grandchildren Christian Michael (Marie) Di Scala of Olympia, Washington and Maia Di Scala of Ripon, and son-in-law Bruno Di Scala of Ripon.  She was dearly loved and she loved her family well, and will be deeply missed.

   Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 2 p.m  to 6 p.m. on September 5, 2023 followed by a rosary service at 6 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA  95336.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 

11 a.m. on September 6, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., Manteca, CA  95336 followed by a Christian burial at East Union Cemetery, 1035 N. Union Rd., Manteca.
