Vernon “Chuck” Adams, 90, entered into rest March 26, 2020 in Stockton, California. Chuck was born July 15, 1929 in West Point, Mississippi. In heaven, he joins his son Steve.
He leaves behind his children, Tom Adams of FL, Lynne Adams of TX, John Adams of Manteca and Mindy Barber of Dublin. Chuck was blessed with six grandchildren, Jenny and David Osborne of Texas, Casey Thompson of Modesto, John Adams of Modesto, Dennis and Emily Barber of Dublin.
Chuck was the youngest of 11 children. He served his country proudly through the US Air Force from 1947-1967. After his retirement from the Air Force, he would go on to work for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. At the age of 47, Chuck earned his Associates Degree from San Joaquin Delta College. He loved his family dearly and his grandchildren were his greatest joy. He will be remembered for his service to our country, as an amazing father and special grandfather he will be deeply missed.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve Chuck’s family. He will be laid to rest with full honors at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 94568.
