Tommy (Tom) Holloway, 62, of Manteca, CA, entered into rest May 5, 2014, at his home surrounded by friends and loved ones.
   There will be a celebration of his life held Wednesday, May 14, 2014,1 p.m. to
5 p.m., at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant Ave., Manteca.
   Tom was born in French Camp on December 9, 1951. He graduated from East Union High School and  received an AA degree from Delta College. Tom was married to Linda Holloway on December 11, 1972. They were married 41 years.
   Tom worked as an electrical maintenance supervisor for Campbell Soup Supply Co. for 34 years. Over the years he enjoyed dirt bikes, dog shows, hunting, and  fishing, with friends and brothers, working on the ranch with his best friend and the boys, camping with family, and working with his hands, building and engineering projects.
   Tom leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Linda Holloway, his children, Charlie Holloway, Leslie Kossart, and son-in-law, Johnny Kossart. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Kayleigh Spraggins, Cassidy Holloway, Zoe Kossart, Brody Kossart, and Cooper Holloway, all of Manteca. He was a loving husband, a wonderful dad, and a doting grandfather. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine Holloway, brother, Tony Holloway, sisters, Joanne Hill, Barbara Crawford, Marsha Cabrera, Betty Rotella, and many nieces and nephews.
   Tom was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Homer Holloway, brother, Allen Ray Holloway, sister, Linda Lagomarsino, brother-in-law, Dennis Hill, and sister-in-law, Sandra Holloway.
   The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Purewals office and Hospice of San Joaquin.

Jose Avina, born on August 15, 1944, passed away on December 25, 2024. A cherished resident of Lathrop for over 48 years, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elda. Jose is survived by his two children, Adriana Dias (John) and Jose Armando Avina (Jenny), and his grandchildren: Alex, Regina, Lucas, Suzette, Austin, Jace. He also leaves behind his siblings: Luis Avina, Alejandro Avina, Carlos Avina, Rose Hernandez, and Jaime Avina.
