Theodore Jack Ferguson

This kind and gentle soul went to heaven one year ago to play the drums as loudly as he wanted and to surf in clear blue waters.   Ted loved life and was passionate about who and what he loved. Music was a driving force. The kids picture him playing finger drums on the steering wheel with the radio turned up.  He sang and played in the band at church. This ‘surfer boy’ would grab his board and head to Santa Cruz on a moment’s notice.  As Coach Fergie he poured himself into Little League and the Sierra H.S. track team.  He served proudly in the U.S.A.F.
Teddy leaves behind five sons, Brent (Ginger), Brian (Kelli), John Neese, Joshua, and Travis (Sarah).  Also survived by his sister Barbara Teske (Ron), his former wife Linda Magel,17 grand children and 10 nieces and nephews.
While losing him has been the source of great heartbreak, we take comfort in knowing he is with his brother Dave and their parents in the arms of the Lord. No services were held and he is resting with honors at San Joaquin National Cemetery.
