Steve Belletto (56) passed away September 11, 2021, after a fierce three week battle with Covid related pneumonia.
He was born and raised in North Modesto, attended Stanislaus Union Elementary, Prescott Jr. High and graduated from Beyer High School in 1983.  Steve worked 30 yrs. in Stockton, CA for Righetti Ent. and Panella Racing before branching out on his own as the owner-operator of Steve Belletto Farms, a custom sweeping and harvesting business for almonds and walnuts the last 5 yrs.
Motorsport racing was in his blood. Starting with Go-Karts, then racing stock cars at Stockton 99 Speedway, he was dedicated to this hobby with the support of his family and close “pit-crew” friends. He won two track championships and numerous races over his many years at Stockton 99 Speedway.  When he put away his race helmet for good, the sand dunes of CA, OR & ID were calling. Steve enjoyed and looked forward to these camping trips every time with wide eyed enthusiasm.
He leaves behind family and friends he loved and was so proud of…Gina Belletto, wife of 34 yrs., son Nicolas Belletto (Kalyn), daughter Elise Sandoval (Michael), parents Harry and Carol Belletto, brothers Rick Belletto (Danette) and Jeff Belletto (Shawna), sister Janna Belletto; grandchildren Ava 5, Luca 3 and baby due in March, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, In-laws and dear friends that were like family.
