It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Fisher, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on March 6, 2025, at the age of 63. Steve grew up in American Falls, Idaho until ultimately calling California his home. A resident of the Manteca area for 30 years, Steve was a shining example of kindness and generosity, touching the lives of everyone he met.

Steve is survived by his devoted wife, Yvette, and their three sons, Shawn (Laura), Ryan (Sara), and Scott (Carly). He was a proud grandfather to four cherished grandchildren: Kalli, Avery, Sawyer, and Dominic. He is also survived by his five siblings, Brenda (Euristhenes) Papaefthimiou, Loree (Stephen) Hoffman, Debra Foutch, Nancy (Doug) Chambers, and Trudy (Mark) Gunter, stepmother Maria Fisher and step siblings Aracely, Jorge, and Ana Hernandez.   He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Stanley and Aldean Fisher.

For 20 years, Steve owned and operated Fisher Insurance Agency a Horace Mann Company, where he excelled as an insurance agent. His agency partnered with schools to promote and support programs that motivate students to reach their educational goals. His dedication to his work earned him numerous accolades for his exceptional service to his clients, including qualifications for prestigious trips and a place in the Hall of Fame for his company. Renowned across the country for his business expertise, Steve was not just a successful businessman; he was a mentor and friend to many.

Steve's passions extended far beyond his career. He enjoyed traveling the world with Yvette, swimming in their pool, and hosting parties for friends and family.  In his youth, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Honduras and Belize. He continued being a faithful member throughout his life dedicating his time to serving others. As a proud member of the Overland Pioneer Jeep club, he enjoyed the thrill of rock crawling. He found joy in taking friends and family on his Jeep adventures.

His magnetic personality and warm spirit made him approachable to all, as he never met a stranger. Steve was known for his optimistic outlook and nonjudgmental nature. His infectious smile and caring demeanor were a source of comfort to those around him. He believed wholeheartedly that being a husband, a dad and grandpa were the greatest joys of life.  He cherished every moment spent with his family.
