Severo Aquiles Baca Adeline T. Baca

Our dear father, Severo Aquiles Baca, sadly lost his life on July 29, 2022 while in the VA Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was 84 years old.

Surviving are his four children, Lewis Baca of San Diego, CA, and Nora Baca, Adela Martinez, and Valerie Baca all of Albuquerque, NM, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Adeline (Palomarez) and son, Severo Baca Jr. Severo was born on February 1, 1939 in Sile, NM and was the sixth child of Ramon T. Baca and Juanita C. de Baca of Pena Blanca, NM. The family moved to Tracy, CA where Severo attended Tracy High School and met his future wife, Adeline. He enlisted in the US Army, completed Advanced Airborne Training, and was assigned to the 623rd Quartermaster Company in Fort Bragg, NC. He took leave and returned to Tracy to marry Adeline on December 12, 1956. He completed his Army tour in 1959 and eventually moved his young family to New Mexico where he built a house in the South Valley of Albuquerque. He took up Sheet Rocking and spent the rest of his career in the construction business even obtaining his contracting license. Severo and Adeline parted ways for several years but reunited together and settled in Manteca, CA. On July 26, 2016, our dear mother, Adeline, passed away and in 2019 Severo moved back to Albuquerque to be near his daughters.

He and our mother, Adeline, will be buried at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in California on

September 27, 2022. Services for both Severo and Adeline will begin at 11 am. Our beloved brother Severo Jr. is also interned in this same National Cemetery.

Our parents will forever be together in Heaven.
