Rosemary Garcia Lopez, 69, passed away on November 25, 2020 in Manteca. She was born in Fresno, California to the late Frank and Anselma Garcia.
Rosemary leaves behind her children, Roda Pinedo and husband Gerardo of Manteca and Mario Leon and wife Kerri of Manteca. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Gerardo Jr., Mario, Santiago, Natalie Pinedo and Wyatt, Wiley and Annalise Leon. In addition, Rosemary leaves behind her siblings, David Garcia, Rebecca Rodriguez, Rachael Mercado, Kayla Garcia, Karla Garcia and Edgar Garcia.
Rosemary was a Manteca/ Lathrop resident. She worked hard while raising her two children. She was a wonderful mom and was involved in every aspect of her children’s lives. She was social and made new friends wherever she went. Rosemary held her church close to her heart. She found her passion in volunteer work and religious education. She loved spending time with her church family, often spending many hours making tamales to raise funds. She was a member of the Dorcas and Cruz Azul Ministries. There was never a job too big for Rosemary and all who knew her could count on her help.
Most of all, Rosemary loved her family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she was so proud of her children’s many accomplishments. Rosemary will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.
