Born on January 2, 1946 in Susanville, CA, Bob attended school in Corning before settling in Reno, NV, where he began his family and career.  He later moved to to Manteca, CA where he resided for over 40 years. Bob's professional journey was diverse and fulfilling. He began his career as Deputy Sheriff in Reno before transitioning to a career as a truck driver – a role he truly loved. Before retiring, he also worked as an insurance agent.

Bob was deeply committed to serving his community. He held numerous leadership roles within the Sunrise Kiwanis, including past president, and served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club and Agape Villages Foster Family Agency. A proud Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War, Bob dedicated countless hours to veteran's organizations such as the VFW and American Legion Post 249, where he served as Commander. He was also a greeter at Crossroads Grace Community Church.

Those who knew Bob will remember his unwavering faith in Jesus and his dedication to his family and community. Known for his contagious smile, warm hugs and sincere handshakes, Bob had a genuine spirit that touched everyone he met. He was always ready to help others without expecting anything in return.
