Rena Roos Swier, 96, passed away Oct. 4th, 2023 into the arms of Jesus. She was born on Jan. 25, 1927 in Holland, MN, the second of 12 children, to Tom and Dora Roos. At the age of 16, the family moved to Ripon, CA. She married John J. Swier on Dec. 6, 1946.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2005 and her beloved youngest daughter, Debra King (Ron) in 2019. She is survived by 6 children; Diane Beuving (Jim), Randall (Pauline), Loren (Rebecca), Larry, Roger (Sharon) and Dolores Werkhoven (Jim), 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 3 great greats. She is also survived by her siblings; John Roos, Ted Roos, Eldora Roos, Jeanne Smithpeter and Lori Livingston. Her relationship with the Lord and her family were most important to her. Rena was a member of Zion Church.

A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10:00 AM at Ripon Cemetery followed by a memorial service at Zion Church in Ripon at 11 AM.
