 Ralph K. Hekman born on September 30, 1932 in Ripon, CA to Peter M. and Anne (Van Dyken) Hekman.

   Ralph attended Ripon Christian School through 12th grade and graduated from San Jose State University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1954. He served as a First Lieutenant in the USMC until 1958. He graduated from the University of Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 1961. 

   Ralph married Betty Law, September 23, 1961. They were happily married for 59 years and were blessed with three children, Stephen, Kimberly and Philip and four grandchildren.  He practiced law in Riverside, Ca from 1959-2020 and was highly honored by Riverside and surrounding counties for his professional courtesy towards the needy, with over 20,000 pro bono hours, even going as far as helping financially.

   Preceded in death by his wife Betty, son-in-law John Wagner, sister Margaret Helgerson and brother Sidney Hekman.      He's survived by his son, Stephen Hekman (Heidi), grandchildren Shane and Brooke; his daughter Kimberly Wagoner and grandchildren Julie and Philip; and son Philip Hekman (Jaqueline) and his brothers Peter, Bruce, Bill, John and Andrew.

   Ralph Kenneth Hekman was interred with full military honors, next to Betty at Riverside National Cemetery, August 15, 2024, 10:00 a.m..
