Ralph Roos passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on June 22, 2021 at his home in Ripon, California. He was surrounded by his loving children and wife when he entered into glory and met his Lord and Savior.
Ralph attended Ripon Christian Schools and Dordt College. After college he served his country for 6 years in the Marine Corps. Ralph was an almond farmer and custom tree planter for the majority of his life. He proudly served as a Director for the South San Joaquin Irrigation District from 1994 until his passing. He actively participated in Bible Study Fellowship and was a member of the San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club. He created the Janie Roos Memorial Women’s Basketball Scholarship at Dordt University and was a founding member of the Rooster Booster’s Pheasant Hunt Fundraiser.  Loving Jesus and relationships were important to Ralph and he could easily connect with anyone. He was known for his dry sense of humor, direct questions, distinguished sideburns, and quiet generosity. Ralph will be dearly missed by his friends, family and the community.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Dadasovich Roos, children, Tim (Suzy) Roos of Modesto, Lynette (Will) Drost of Escalon, Lisa (Paul Vander Veen) Roos of Ripon, Lori Roos of Sacramento, and Ryan (Aya) Dadasovich of Ridgefield, CT, grandchildren, Matthew and Gianna Roos, Walter, Janie and Willem Drost, and Ryder, Luke, Scott and Emily Dadasovich, and siblings, Maury Roos of Sacramento, Ken Roos of Ripon, and Barbara Roos of San Francisco.
