Pedro Pablo Landa Pacheco was born June 14, 1934, in Jalisco, Mexico, the second child of Sigifredo Landa and Juana Pacheco. He spent his youth helping his family care for their cattle and tending their crops. On May 18, 1955 he married Herlinda Rodriguez Munoz, the love of his life, to whom he was married for 55 years. They were blessed with six children. Pedro came to Stockton, CA, in January of 1994 to be closer to his children and their families. His grandchildren were his joy and his face would light up upon seeing them. Pedro was born into eternal life on April 26, 2011 surrounded by his loving family in Stockton, CA.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Herlinda; his children and their spouses: Sigifredo and Camerina, Alvaro and Olivia, Pedro and Patricia, Javier and Jodi, Consuelo and Benjamin, and Irma and Uriel; his grandchildren: Ericka, Jeannette, Annyvette, Lorena, Ana, Pablo, Xavier, Pedro, P.Teresa, Sigifredo, Alvaro, Liliana, Mayra, Matthew, Jacob, Angel, Hugo, Anthony, Abraham, Anahi, Jaime, and Christian; his great-grandchildren: Angel, Genesis, and Santiago; his sisters Florencia, Angelita, Carmela and Consuelo; his brothers Inocencio, Jesus, Armando and Servando; numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, 3 infant children and 3 granddaughters.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation at Park View Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. followed by Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 168 W Eaton Ave, Tracy, CA. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA.
