Patricia Gayle Diaz, 70, entered into rest on August 26, 2016 at her home in Ripon. She was born on April 16, 1946 to the late Richard and Evelyn Thackery in Canada.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years Trinidad Diaz of Ripon. Her children are Brandon James Hinkston of Ripon and Stephanie Carpenter and husband John of Manteca. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Kaylene Ferguson and husband Timmy, Robert Carpenter, Donel Hinkston, Steven Hinkston and Emilee Carpenter. In addition she leaves behind her sister Diane Flanigan.

Pat was a Manteca/Ripon resident. She worked for PMZ Real estate, where she would excel for years. Pat was dedicated and hardworking. She loved golf and her best days were spent on the green with her closes friends.   She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.  She held a special place in her heart for her companion, her dog Güero .  Her husband was her best friend and confidant. She will be remembered for her smile that lit up a room and her vibrant essence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

P.L. Fry is honored to serve Pat’s family. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca.
