Norma Ulibarri departed from this earth on Monday, July 13, 2020. She was born on August 10, 1953, to Arnulfo and Antonia Castillo. She was a 1972 graduate of Newark High School. She married Anthony Ulibarri on June 22, 1985 in Newark at St. Edwards Catholic Church. They remained happily married for 32 years. She started her career at the Fremont Superior Court only to continue that work in Manteca, Tracy and finally Stockton, where she was able to retire. Norma lived her life the only way she knew how and that was surrounded by her dear family and friends and of course her husband and children.
She loved to go to the casinos, often times venturing off with her father and brother. She loved going to the beach where she was able to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze, as well as stopping at fruit stands along the way. Norma was the kind of woman who loved to laugh, and be around good company. She was a loving and compassionate person, and was always thinking of others. She always had a smile on her face and she made you feel loved with her warm spirit and kind heart.
Norma is survived by her two children, Ashley and Thomas, her brother, Manuel Castillo, nieces and nephews, cousins and many other relatives. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony and her adoring parents Arnulfo and Antonia Castillo.
P. L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Ulibarri family. All services are being held privately. For condolences to the family please, visit their online tribute page at www.plfryandson.com
