Norma Jean (Brown) Bohannon, 92 of Ripon passed away on Thursday, December 12, at her residence .

   Mrs. Bohannon was born in Corning, Arkansas and was a resident of Ripon for 33 years. She was kitchen supervisor for the Department of Corrections for 10 years. She loved spending time with

her family and friends and enjoyed painting and crafts.

   Mrs. Bohannon is survived by her sons, Richard Dale Miller of Grayson and James Kevin Miller of Vernalis; daughter, Cynthia Darlene Burnham of Toney, Alabama; nine grandchildren, numerous

great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. 

   She was preceded in death by her first

husband, James Miller and second husband, Robert Bohannon; siblings, Jack Brown, Charlie Brown, Gaines Brown, Headley Brown, Glenn Brown, John Brown, Bill Brown and Lavern Miller.

   A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 27th, at Hillview Funeral Chapels in Patterson. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28th,  at Hillview Funeral Chapels in Patterson. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
