Nicolas Don Asher was, 22, born December 4, 1993 at Doctors Hospital Manteca to Janice Asher and Nicolas Sayada.  Nicolas joined his grandfather in heaven on July 20, 2016.
   Nick is proceeded in death by his grandfather, Judge Don I. Asher, after whom he was named.
   Nick is survived by his mother, Janice Asher of Mill Valley and his father, Nicolas Sayada of San Francisco; step-father Cesar Lagleva of San Rafael; his sisters, Gia Asher-Lagleva of Mill Valley, Faviola Padilla of San Francisco, and Ampelia Padilla of Navato; his grandmother, Marilyn Asher of Manteca; his aunts, Lisa Asher of San Anselmo and Donna Morais of Ripon; and his cousins, Devin Schell of Reno, Nevada, Herschel Gant of San Anselmo, Michael Morais of Chico, and Megan Morais of Ripon. Nick is also survived by an immense number of others he would consider not just friends but family.
   Nicolas was a man filled with love. If you were lucky enough to find yourself on the receiving end of one of his hugs, you felt that love to your core. He was an adventurer, a trait he learned from his mother.  She instilled in him the courage to always try new things and find new places. He recently spent time in Hawaii working on a coffee plantation. It was there that he learned to spear fish and dive for abalone, an adventure he shared with friends and family through pictures on Facebook. Nick had an immense love of music which he inherited from his father. He took pride in teaching his younger cousin to play the guitar, his favorite instrument. Nicolas will be missed by everyone who knew him.
   Services for Nick will be held at Park View Cemetery Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA. on Friday, July 29, 2016.  Visitation will be open from
10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery. A reception to celebrate Nick’s life will be held at 1112 Palomino Street, Manteca. An online Book of Memories can be found at:
