Myrna (Kathy) Kathleen Harris,77, of Star, Idaho, passed away on December 23, 2024.

   The funeral service will be held at Life Church at 3225 E. Commercial Ct., Meridian, Idaho, January 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.  Associate Pastor, Mac Mayer of Life Church will be officiating.  There will be a concurrent service held in Lodi, California at Collins Family Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi, CA at 1:00 p.m.

   Kathy was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on November 4th, 1947.  She graduated from Lincoln High School and continued on to receive an Associates degree at Delta  College, and her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership, Cum Laude from Chapman University.  Later in life Kathy went back to school and obtained her Associate of Ministry degree, at  Life Bible College.  Kathy worked as an Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Tracy Unified School District for over 10 years.  Once retired, Kathy went on to open her consulting firm Harris Leadership Development along with her daughter Traci, Kathy enjoyed gardening, bible study with her friends of Life Church, and her most prized time was spent watching her great-granddaughter Taytum.

   Kathy is survived by her daughter Traci Petitt, son-in-law Randy Petitt, grandchildren: Courtney Petitt, Brittney and (Nick) Anderson, Kalie Petitt, Great-grandchildren; Haisley Kathleen Anderson, Taytum Petitt, Jax Anderson, brother Michael and (Linda) Seelye, nephew Mathew and (Mandi) Seelye and niece Katie Seelye.

   Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Martha Seelye and her beloved sheltie Brooke.

   The family would love to thank St. Lukes Hospital of Boise for their compassion, attention and care of not only Kathy but their whole family in attendence.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be given to Life Church, in Kathy's name, for the Lifehouse of Mercyprison ministry assisting people transitioning back to the community from incarceration.
