Miriam Jorgensen, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Ripon on April 23, 2023.

   Miriam was born on December. 17, 1930 in Modesto to parents, Smith and Margaret Bibens.  Miriam leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Frank Jorgensen, her children, Margaret Ann Sharp, Carol Ann Deathriage and Robert Eric Jorgensen (Debbie) and her daughter-in-law, Connie Jorgensen. Miriam also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. 

   She is preceded in death by her son, Clifford Jorgensen and her brothers, Robert and Maynard Bibens.

   Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Jorgensen family. Due to the Farmer’s Market in Downtown Modesto, the service time has changed on Saturday, May 13th.

   A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 11 from 5:00 to 8:00  p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. A graveside is scheduled for Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Modesto. Donations in Miriam’s memory may be made to PEO Scholarships or the Alzheimer’s Association.
