Mildred Marie Goodwin, 82, of Manteca, CA passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was the daughter of Tarlton Gregory, and Ethel (Stufflebeam) Gregory born December 20, 1938, in Bakersville, CA.
She was united in marriage to James Earl Goodwin in 1956 until his passing in 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tarlton Gregory and Ethel (Stufflebeam) Gregory, Husband James Earl Goodwin, only brother, Elmer Gregory, two sisters, Viola Welch and Deloris Giles, one son, Jimmy Goodwin Sr.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Goodwin of Manteca, daughter, Teresa Lamendola of Manteca, Two sisters, Ella Mae Jordan of Ventura and Joyce Howard of Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, Jimmy Goodwin Jr., Sean Goodwin, Anthony Lamendola, Michael Lamendola, Eric Goodwin, Jennifer Goodwin, Mario Martinez, Clarissa Munguia, all of California, eight great- grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Mildred was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends and loved to cook for all of them too. She always knew how to keep everyone full and satisfied. She loved hanging out in the backyard enjoying the beautiful weather doing yardwork and watching her family and friends swim in the pool, even though she did not know how to swim. Family meant everything to her. She will always be remembered for her giving heart and compassion for others. She also loved to talk on the phone keeping in touch with all her family and friends getting the scoop on what is going on. She was nosey, ha-ha. She will always be loved by her family and friends and will always be in our hearts forever.
As per Mildred’s’ wishes, no memorial services will be held.
