Mike Thiel, 47, entered into rest on January 25, 2013 in Antioch, CA. He was born February 1, 1965 in Walnut Creek, CA. He was a resident of Antioch for the past 3 years. Mike was previously a resident of Manteca, CA, for 14 years.

Mr. Thiel is survived by his wife Robin Thiel of Antioch, CA, his children Amanda Ruth Thiel of Manteca, CA, and Jeremy Michael Thiel of Utah; his father, Bud Thiel of Manteca, CA; his mother Sandy Daw of Stockton, CA. He is also preceded in death by his siblings Josh (Wendy) Thiel of Manteca, CA; Ron Thiel of Manteca, CA and Brenda Judd of Manteca, CA.

Michael worked as a manufacturer in the electronic field. Mike had a passion for life and he loved the Lord. While in Manteca he and his family where members of Calvary Community Church. He was very involved with the music and youth programs in the church. Mike also helped with the Promise Keepers program as well. Mr. Thiel loved music from blues to rock n roll, he even played the harmonica. His best friend was his dog Sammy, always spending time together. He loved being free, riding his motorcycle and going on rides. He was a father to many nieces and nephews as well as his own children Mike loved his family and spending time with his children. 

Services have been entrusted to P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA.
