Michael Rue Hogle, born in Iowa on November 17, 1948, passed away on September 27, 2024, in Modesto. He was 75 years old and had been a resident of Manteca for 37 years.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, and their children: Westin Hogle, Callie Hogle, and Flor Williams. He adored his three grandchildren, Anthony, Maya, and Aliyah. He is also survived by his brother, Tony Hogle, and was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Wilson.
Michael was honorably discharged from the United States Army where he proudly served during the Vietnam war. He dedicated 37 years of his career as a heavy equipment operator before retiring from Don Lawley in Stockton. Michael was a valued member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where he found community and fellowship. In his free time, Michael enjoyed working on his car, taking trips to local casinos, and socializing with friends. He was particularly fond of playing darts and cherished the moments spent in good company. Known for his reserved nature and kind spirit, Michael was truly a good man whose gentle demeanor touched the lives of many.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and dedication to family will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
