Megan Faye Smith, 22, our precious girl left us suddenly on Sunday, December 27, from complications due to an acute asthma attack.

Megan was born in Castro Valley and spent her early years in Fremont and Folsom, Cal. She attended Manteca High School in Manteca and Casa Robles High School in Orangevale. After high school, she enrolled in the Paralegal program at MTI College in Sacramento.

Meggy Faye touched many people’s lives during her too short time with us. She was bright and sweet with a tender, loving heart, and was truly as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She loved all creatures, great and small, especially her dog, Dalila.

She leaves to mourn her passing and honor her life, her mother, Charissa Kirk of Folsom, and step-father, Patrick Kirk of Orangevale, CA; her father, Jason Smith and step-mother, Chandra Barnard, of Hughson; her brothers, Michael and his wife, Mary, and Danny; sisters, Kara, Tehya, Amarra and Jamie; aunts, Tammy, Mary and Jessica; uncle, Scott (deceased); 5 doting grand-parents; 4 nieces and 5 nephews; a loving boyfriend, JM; and many dear friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the Memorial Chapel at Park View Cemetery on Saturday, January 9, at 2:30 p.m.
