Marie Triglia, 85, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2022 in French Camp, CA. She was born May 1, 1936.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Verene Schneider, siblings, William Schneider, Cecilia Bell, and Robert Schneider. Marie leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Daniel Triglia, Sr. of Manteca, her children, Brian Houston (Laura) of AZ, Glenda Breshears (Ron) of Modesto, Daniel Triglia, Jr. (Gina) of Manteca, and Sarah Bennett (James) of Stockton. Marie was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Paula, Brian Jr., Brittney, Jamie, Jennifer, Diana, Tina, Abigail, Nicholas, Aaliyah, Jaziyah, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition, she has one surviving sister, Dolores Bell of MD. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that loved her greatly.
Marie was a Manteca native. She attended Manteca High School where she was a song leader and graduated Class of 1954. She would then marry Daniel and raise their family. She worked at Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy and Collin’s Insurance in Manteca. Most of her career she worked in the Department of Radiology at Doctor’s Hospital of Manteca, where she would make countless friends. She was a faithful member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the I.C.F., Y.L.I., and an active volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul. Marie was a talented seamstress and enjoyed all types of crafts. She loved her collection of frog figurines that grew and grew, as well as her collection of Nicholas Sparks novels. She was an avid San Francisco Giants fan- always excited to watch them play. She was a beautiful soul and the angel of the family. Her quiet, graceful demeanor was felt by all. However, Marie had a funny and witty side to her that not many were fortunate enough to see unless they were paying
attention. She loved her family dearly and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Every time she heard someone say “Nana” it would bring a smile to her face. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Triglia family. She will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 17, 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Road, Escalon.
