On Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, Lynann Rae Bland, loving wife, mother of two children, grandmother, and sister, passed away at the age of 70 in her home in Manteca, California, surrounded by her loved ones.

   Lynann was born to parents Beverly and Gerald Bland on April 15th, 1954. She was born and raised in Sacramento with her younger brother, Jerry. She graduated from Stanislaus State with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts, Magna Cum Laude. From this, she started a career in education spanning over 25 years as a special education aide and teacher.

   Lynann loved spending time with her cats, husband, children and grandchildren. She loved playing Sudoku, going on road trips every year with her grandkids all over America (25+ states), baking, shopping, photography, recycling, and reading. She liked listening to Bon Jovi and Maroon 5, watching home renovation shows, and movies starring Jason Mamoa. 

   Lynann is remembered for her willingness to help others, stoic and calming presence, warm smile, and her sense of style, direction, and humor. She was a pillar of strength and inspiration to her family. She will be remembered for her compassion, vigor, and spirit. 

   She is survived by her husband, Michael, children Channa and Justin, daughter-in-law Angela, and grandchildren AJ, Cameron, Saffron, Jazmine, De’Angelo, and Dajia, and 

great-grandchildren Lillith and Perspehone.
