Louie passed away in Manteca, California on July 11, 2022. He was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 14th, 1934. He and his family moved to Daly City in 1936 and even walked on the Golden Gate Bridge the day it opened. He moved to Banta in 1945 and lived around the San Joaquin area, including Lathrop and Manteca for 77 years.
Louie worked milking cows and bailing hay with his father and spent many years in farming. He later worked at Oxy Chemical and Simplot, where he retired from after 42 years.
Louie loved sight-seeing, photography, and riding bikes. He enjoyed camping at the beach and going to Washington to visit his family. His family was the most important thing to him, and he loved a good get-together with them all. Louie loved corn, asparagus., artichokes, grapes, natural vanilla, ice cream, drinking lots of coffee, and weekly breakfast dates with his sons and friends. He enjoyed nothing more than watching his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids playing sports.
Louie is survived by his four children, Louie, Rhonda, Ed, and Frank, grandchildren, Charli, Leanne, Shawna, Doug, Joe, Louie, Megan, and Martin. great-grandchildren, Doug, Luke, Nate, Payton, Amadea, Hefti, Louie, Tristan, Julius, Josiah, James, and Sutton, Red and Caleb. And his sisters, Joanne and Erma.
A memorial service will be held at Park View Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
