Lloyd Thompson, Sr. died in his home on August 16, 2018 in Manteca, CA at the age of 87.

     Lloyd is survived by three of his children Lori Lund (Bill) of LaFrance, SC, Lloyd Jr. (Caren) of Modesto, CA, and Letitia Sullivan (Mickey) of San Antonio, TX.  

   He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great-

grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his lovely wife Lois, and two sons, Lynn of Hillsboro, IL and Larry of Stockton, CA.

   Lloyd was born on October 17, 1930 in Hinkley, MN to Sylvia and Landis Thompson.  He married Lois in 1949 and moved to Manteca, CA in 1956.  Lloyd began working for Corando’s Machine Shop in Stockton, CA and enjoyed traveling around the United States, as well as Germany and China.  He retired from Corando’s in 1995.

   A private family graveside service will take place on Friday, August 31, 2018.  The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
