Leon “Lee” Morin, born December 2, 1952 in Taunton, Mass. After a courageous fight with ALS he passed peacefully on August 15, 2019. He was a Ripon resident since 1989.
Lee will be remembered with love by his former spouse and best friend Darlene Morin, step-son Marc Kneeland, granddaughters, Ciara Kneeland and Madison Holloway, sister, Kathleen (Arnie) Casavant, brothers, Rich Morin and Bob (Nancy) Morin, and many nieces and nephews, and extended family members. He will also be missed by his loyal companion of 15 years, his dog JuJu.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. and May T. (Brown) Morin and step-son Robby Kneeland.
Lee retired in 2017 from Unified Grocers in Stockton where he made many great friendships. Lee loved to walk his dog, golf with friends and frequent Black Oak Casino. He was also a life long fan of the Boston Red Socks and the New England Patriots.
Lee always had a positive attitude and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be loved and missed deeply by those who knew him.
Per his request, no services will be held. In his memory, donations can be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, ALS, or Pets and Pals.
