Rev. Lennie Ruth Allen, born October 10, 1931, entered into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ April 23, 2011 at the age of 79.
She is survived by her loving family, Rev. James G. Allen of Manteca, three sons and one daughter: Glenn Allen of Manteca, Robert G. Allen and Mark R. Allen, both of Eureka, and Debbielynn Cowan of Hawaii. Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Keith Allen, and one daughter, Ebbie Lee Allen, as well as two brothers and one sister, and her parents.
Ruth was the manager of El Rancho Mobile Home Park in Manteca since 1977. She was a minister of the Foursquare Church, pioneering it in 1976. In 47 years of ministry she had assisted her husband in four churches: being a Bible teacher, bookkeeper, secretary and many other positions. She was a mentor and friend to many in all that she did. She will be remembered as a loving, giving person with much history behind her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. P.L. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest in a private family setting at Park View Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com
