Larry Lambert entered into rest on July 16, 2017 in Manteca. He was born on August 22, 1946 in Cook County, Illinois. His parents moved their family to California when he was an infant.
   Larry started school in Oakdale, CA and then attended Sequoia Elementary and Manteca High School when moving to Manteca.  He went into the Marines at the age of 17 and served his country in the Vietnam War.
   Larry was always full of life and had a smile on his face. He was a welder by trade, he loved scuba diving, fishing, hunting, and dancing. He also enjoyed spending time with fellow veterans and the local VFW Hall.
   Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife Cheryl Lambert of Manteca, mother Betty Lambert of Manteca, twin brother Terry Lambert (Diane) of Denair, and sister Sharon Hammond of Lodi, three daughters Kim Lambert, Jeanette Lambert, and Wendy King all of Manteca, four grandchildren; Robbie Wise, Kayla Wise, Jeff Wise and Emma Broderick all of Manteca.  He is also survived by his beloved service dog Buddy.
   Mr. Lambert’s services will be Tuesday, July 25, at
11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6060 Northland Road, Manteca, CA.
  In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry’s memory can be sent to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6311, 580 Moffat Blvd., Manteca, CA 95336.
