Born in Oklahoma on June 12, 1937, Kathryn “Sue” Cardoza, 85, entered into rest on March 18, 2023 in Manteca, Ca.          

   She is preceded in death by her parents Orbie and Reetha Summers, sisters Karen Summers, Beverly Steves and one brother Dale Summers.

   Mrs. Cardoza is survived by her family; husband, David Cardoza, son David S. Cardoza wife Annette , daughter Cynthia L. McCullough, grandchildren, Mathew Cardoza, Kristen L. Langston husband Michael  and Alyssa M. Kleppe-Moran husband Kris two great-grandchildren, Evelyn L. Langston and Remi L. Langston, brother Daniel Summers, Marta Summers and one sister-in-law Patricia Summers.

   A lifetime resident of Manteca, Sue graduated from Manteca High School in 1955. She retired after 22 years as an accountant from Spreckles Sugar Factory. She was as member of St. Mary’s Church in Manteca. Sue enjoyed bowling, playing golf and was a member Sweet Swingers Golf team. She loved to socialize with friends and always made time for fun trips to local casinos.  She will be remembered for her strong-willed spirit, her outgoing character and her friendly warm smile.
