Born on July 8, 1941, John Nussbaumer, entered into rest on November 2, 2022 in Modesto, Ca. He is preceded in death by one brother Conrad Nussbaumer.

   Mr. Nussbaumer is survived by his wife Sue of 54 years, children, Shawn Nussbaumer (Rachel), Robert Nussbaumer, Jeffery Nussbaumer and Scott Nussbaumer (Brandi), he was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Allison, Ashlynn, Stephen, Hunter, Collin, Nicholas, Hailey, Hannah, Haiden, Braden and Sophia and one great-grandchild Aryah.

   John proudly served his country through the United States Army and was a Viet Nam Vet 1964-1966. After the military, John owned and operated J &J printing for over 23 years and currently own by his oldest son Shawn. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, The American Legion, VFW of Manteca and supported the Legion of Mary. John enjoyed going to car shows and making candy during the holidays. By nature John’s caring heart always portrayed though his gracious attitude and his willingness to always help where there was a need. Above all, John was a devoted family man, he loved family get-togethers and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye, his love for family was unconditional. John will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, and his loyalty to God, family and country. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

   P.L. Fry and Son funeral home is honored to be serving the Nussbaumer family. A memorial rosary/vigil will be on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca. A memorial mass will be on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00  a.m. held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, Ca. He will be laid to rest at a later date at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
