 Jim D. Turner, age 76, entered into rest on February 26, 2016 in Marysville, CA.  He was born on February 23, 1940 in Covina, CA.  He was a resident of Plumas Lake for 16 years.
   Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sheri Turner of Plumas Lake.  He leaves behind his children, Leslie Turner, Brian Turner and Aaron Turner all of Sacramento.  Jim was blessed with seven grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie), Justin (Sydney), Sean, Blake, Austin, Alisa and Maxx.  He is also survived by his siblings, Chuck Turner of Indio, CA and Peggy (Hubert) Morgan, of AZ.
   Jim was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1957 to 1961.  He was the current Sales Manager for Wheeler Auto Center in Yuba City for 16 years.  He was the former owner operator of Jim Turner Inc. in Manteca, formerly Van Hook Motors in Manteca.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed and forever in our hearts.
   PL Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner family.  A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00am at Plainsburg Cemetery, 8943 Gillette Avenue, Merced, CA.
