Jesus Carrillo passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his family on January 14, 2025. He was 101 years young. He is survived by his daughters, Angelica (Jeff), and Doris (Richard), and four grandsons, Isaac, Sean, Ivaan, and Santiago.
Jesus Carrillo arrived from Mexico over 75 years ago to find himself loving Manteca where he soon started a family with his beautiful wife, Nati, also a native of Mexico. He and Nati created a home of love, respect, and integrity where everyone was welcomed with open arms.
He soon created a name for himself in the community as “Carrillo,” working in agriculture as a foreman where he helped thousands of families find work and created long-lasting friendships that would span generations and throughout the valley. Jesus Carillo loved the value of hard work, which included years of service as an employee with San Joaquin Tomato Growers and Brocchini Farms for over 50 years while also running his own successful small business. He will always be remembered for his love of life, positive attitude, sense of humor, and most importantly how he embraced every conversation with an open heart. We are thankful to “Los Cafeteros” and the loving care from his caregivers.
