Hilda Goyette, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on February 16, 1945, in the Azores, Hilda spent 60 years as a resident of Stockton, California.

   Hilda is survived by her devoted husband, Roger, for 60 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and joy. Hilda is survived by her children, Lisa Goyette Leonard (Van) and David Goyette; her adored grandchildren, Dylan, Drake, Devin Joseph, and Zachariah and her three great-grandchildren, Karson, Oliver, and Everly. She is also survived by her brothers, Victor and Joe Andre, and was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Mary DaRosa.

   A proud homemaker, Hilda dedicated her life to her family and was a devoted member of St. Luke's in Stockton. She found immense joy in attending Portuguese festas, being an active member in both Manteca and Elk Grove, where she celebrated her rich heritage. Hilda was known for her engaging conversations, often talking for hours on the phone to relatives near and far always keeping in touch with loved ones.  In addition to her passion for family and community, Hilda enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and was known for her generous spirit. She was kind, nonjudgmental, and always compassionate, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.  Above all Hilda's unwavering love for her grandchildren brought her immense pride and joy to her life. Her devotion and passion to her family was unconditional.

   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Goyette family. A viewing will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00  a.m. followed by a prayer service at 12:00 noon held at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca. She will be laid to rest at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
