Herbert Henry McKinley, 79, was born on August 15, 1942 in Douglas, Arizona and entered into rest on July 17, 2022 in Manteca, CA.
He has lived in San Joaquin County for over 70 years. He loved being around family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He attended Lathrop Elementary School and graduated from Manteca High School in 1960. He worked at the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department and was also in the Army Reserves. Most of his career was in the Egg Production Industry in Lathrop, before working at Poly Processing in French Camp and then becoming self-employed. Some of his favorite past times were being in the Lathrop-French Camp Lions Club and the Pacific Pacers Car Club.
He is preceded in death by parents, George and Eunice McKinley and sister Darla (Jody) Smith. He is survived by his wife Linda McKinley, daughter Arlene (Michael) Strohmaier, son Gregory
McKinley and granddaughter Kelsie (Justin) Strohmaier. He will be greatly missed by his numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends and family.
Services will be on August 2, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Park View Cemetery, Manteca.
