Gloria Bodeson passed away on August 8, 2024 surrounded by family.

   Gloria was born on August 27,1956 to Russell and Esther Douma in Ripon, CA. where she attended Ripon Christian schools and the Calvary Reformed Church. During this time, she met Jim Bodeson, married on June 27, 1975, and went on to have three children they raised together. She worked as a beautician at Henrietta’s Beauty Center in Ripon.

Gloria enjoyed camping, fishing, staying at the Douma Cabin in Dardanelle, CA, visiting the beach in Santa Cruz, and being a mom to her children. She was a vibrant and fun loving mother to her children, as well as many other children in the neighborhood. For many years, Gloria worked as a Teacher’s Aid in the kindergarten classroom at Ripona School.

   Gloria was preceded in death by her son Francis Russell (Rusty) Bodeson. She leaves behind her husband, Jim Bodeson, children; Heidi and Ben Flanagan, Danny and Devon Bodeson, and grandchild Julian Flanagan. She will be dearly missed.
