Born on May 5, 1939, Glenn McDonald, 78, entered into rest on June 17, 2017 in Manteca, CA.
   He is survived by his loving wife Betty of 53 years, children; Renee Dumlao (Carl), Britt Quintal, Laura McDonald and Randy Sprinkle (April). He was blessed by ten grandchildren; Carl (Kristi), Mindy, Lindsey (Ryan), Katrina, Kyle (Stephany), Sarah, Brittany, Jake, Randolph and Beau (Rachael) and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition, Glenn is survived by one brother Steve (Jackie) McDonald.
   Glenn grew up on Manteca graduating from Manteca High in 1957. He proudly served his country through the United States Marine Corps where he was honorably discharged after four years of service. Glenn made his career as a general contractor owning and operating The McDonald Glenn Company. Glenn had many hobbies which included water skiing, snow skiing and was extremely competitive in boat racing. He enjoyed working in his garden and a day on the greens golfing with friends and family out at Spring Creek Golf and Country Club. He was an avid baseball fan and he loved the San Francisco Giants. Glenn will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his love for family and his competitive nature. He will be deeply missed.
   P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the McDonald family. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 25, 2017 1 p.m. to 5.p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA. Services will be on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. also held at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel.
   He will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Hospice, 2431 W. March Ln., Stockton, 95207. An online guest book is available for condolences to the family at www.plfryandson.com
