Frederick Brewer BW

Frederick “Mark” Brewer, age 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 22, 2014.
He was survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Brewer, four children, sons Clinton Brewer of El Paso, TX, Randy Brewer of Napa, CA, Kurtis Brewer of Sonora, CA, and daughter, Loni Brewer of Fresno, CA. He was the proud grandfather of Emadgeawon Brewer, Aris Holman and Lilli Brewer.
Mark was born to the late, Albert and Lydia Brewer, in Hayward, CA on July 20, 1954. He grew up in Fremont, CA. After high school he attended Ohlone College and graduated in 1977. He became an electrician and was active in the Union, where he also taught apprenticeship electrical courses. Mark was passionate about soccer, and met his wife, Linda while coaching in Livermore, CA.
They moved to Manteca in 1987 where he continued to stay involved in coaching soccer for local Manteca and Stockton players, including East Union and Weston Ranch High Schools. He was an excellent coach and well loved by his players.
When he wasn’t working and coaching he loved riding his motorcycle, watching movies with his family, writing poetry for various friends, family and events, and would donate hours to local churches and business.
Mark retired in Sonora, CA with his wife where they enjoyed the outdoors which included taking out their kayak, camping, and getting visits from their grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mark was a “kid” at heart and was known for his sense of humor. He was an amazing man who was taken too soon from us.
In memory of Mark, a memorial page has been created where you can share memories and learn ways to help with family expenses associated with his unexpected passing. http://www.facebook.com/MarkBrewerMemorial
